Lachlan Opray
Chief Executive Officer
Founding partner and Executive Director since 2001. Appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer in July 2010
and Chief Executive Officer in November 2010. Lachlan holds a double degree in Arts/Science from the
University of Melbourne.
Matthew Fitzgerald
Executive Director
Founding partner and Executive Director since 2001. Matthew leads the core development team who
have created industry specific software products for database management and marketing, all while
expanding upon the features of the original software programs. Prior to his directorship at Impact Data,
Matthew had experience as a web application developer and as a programmer for the financial services
sector specialising in database design. His astute mathematical abilities formerly saw him placed as a
research assistant in Theoretical Astrophysics at Monash University. Matthew has a thorough knowledge
of numerous programming languages.
Matthew Critchley
Non-Executive Chairman
Matthew has been advising the Impact Data board since September 2009 and was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in July 2010. He brings extensive experience to the role having served in numerous
executive positions, most significantly as Chief Operating Officer of MYOB Limited from 2001 to 2008.
During his time with MYOB, Matthew was responsible for the global day-to-day operations of the
company in seven countries managing a staff base of over 1,200 employees and growing revenue from
A$70m to in excess of A$200 million per annum.
Prior to MYOB, Matthew was Group President – Asia
Pacific for HB Fuller Co from 1993 - 2001, a multinational specialty chemicals company. Matthew also
serves as a Non-Executive Director of MBD Energy Pty Ltd and is Non-Executive Chairman of Asian
Business Software Solutions Pte Ltd, a MYOB South East Asian regional licensee based in Singapore.
